Blogging Almost Took Away My Everything-My Father
Staring at my father’s limp body on the stretcher in the ambulance, a tear fell silently from my searing eye.
“Dad, I’m sorry. Please, please be alright,” I whispered, willing for his shut eyes to flutter open.
I closed my eyes as tears flowed from them uncontrollably, stinging the cuts that covered my face. A warm hand found the side of my face and I opened my eyes to meet the striking blue ones of my father’s looking straight back at me.
“I forgive you,” he barely whispered. Using all of the strength he had left he said “I love you”.
“Miss, I’m terribly sorry but you have to leave now,” said the driver of the ambulance, laying his hand on my shoulder and steering me away from my father. “There is just not enough space in the vehicle due to your father’s condition.”
“Just a little longer with him? Please?” I pleaded as I felt my father’s hand fall from mine. “PLEASE?” I repeated as I realised I was watching the ambulance drive away from me.
Images of the scene played in my mind and I winced at every new picture that formed in my head, trying to block them out, remembering how it all started.
I applied the last layer of lip gloss onto my already pink lip, smacked my lips and got up. Perfect. I slipped out the back door of my house to finally meet prince charming. Walking towards the neighbourhood park during the dead of night was not an everyday thing to do. But it was worth it when you get to meet the person that you know was mend for you. Damon. Talking to him on my blog, having debates with him was the best thing I remembered of these past two months. He had told me that he was the same age as me and that we should meet up. I accepted the offer, of course!
As soon as I entered the park, goose bumps sprung up on my arms and the back of my neck. It was so dark, a different place! Then, I heard my name.
“Jessica,” a voice from behind me said. “Jessica. It’s me, Damon.”
Yes, that was Damon but not the 16 year old I thought him to be. Staring at the far end of the park, I did not dare to turn around. It was too late when I realised that I had my back exposed to a complete stranger.

Using Laptops
Using laptops is very common these days. One of the main reasons is that laptops can store a lot of information without using much paper. When one stores information in a laptop, it can be easily accessed without much difficulty. What’s more, the information can be converted onto paper as long as there is a printer nearby. Most people are usually unorganized; these people would not bother to organize papers into files. This usually results in lost papers or time wasted in searching for them. Whereas, using the laptop, there is a search system that allows one to find his/her files quickly even if one does not organize their files. The laptop can also access the internet to find out more information and research. It can also be used as an online dictionary. I hope that there will be more use in the laptop as using the laptop is definitely more convenient.

A Diary Entry after one of Mrs Hon's Enjoyable Lessons
Hello Everyone!
Today Mrs Hon’s lesson was very interesting as she was teaching us how to write compositions. She suggested some book for us to read. I have decided to read the book ‘Angels and Demons’ by Dan Brown. It is non-fiction and, according to Mrs Hon, it is written very skilfully. I have a good feeling about this book.
What I look for when I read a book is how it is written and its story line. One of my favourite series of all time is the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. It is about a young boy, Harry, who had lost his parents when he was barely a year old because of a powerful sorcerer that tried to murder him. Nobody knew how he survived because nobody had ever survived when the sorcerer, Voldermort decided to kill them. His parents tried to save him and were killed by Voldermort. When he turns 11, he finds out that he is a wizard and begins his journey to grow and develop as a fine wizard that has to battle Voldermort to live a normal life as a wizard in the wizarding world.
I regard this plot as a very good one as I can see that a lot of thought and planning was put into it. I also know that it took J.K Rowling 5 whole years to develop this idea.
When I start to write short stories I wish to write in the style J.K Rowling does as she engages me and whenever I read her books, I do not want to put them down! What are your favourite books?
